Greetings Readers!
I have been busy packing up my household belongings to prepare for the installation of new flooring over the last few weeks.
The flooring installation began last Wednesday and continued through Saturday.
Aside from a few items they ran out of material for, the project is essentially done.
Because I’ve been directing and moving items around, and dusting repeatedly, these last few days, I’ve had little time to work on a Bible study post.
I did my research, but the actual crafting of a post will wait until next weekend.
Why next weekend?
The main reason for the delay is that I only just now got my desk properly set up for writing.
The secondary reason is that I need to make sure I can find everything I need for a work trip this week.
Third, I’m trying to find a repairman to come check on my fridge. It’s making a rather loud and unusual sound. Praying it’s just all the dust that was generated from the flooring project causing issues and nothing more serious.
Shortly after I return from my work trip, a bathroom remodeling project will begin. The good news for that project is that it’s spread out over 24 days and shouldn’t affect my writing time.
While you wait for a new Bible study post from me, let me encourage you with a prayer based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-14.
Heavenly Father, Your word in Ecclesiastes 3:1-14 reminds us that there is a season or time for everything under heaven. As one reads through these verses, one learns we need not rush anything. Instead, no matter what circumstances we face, You are at work in and through them. Help us each focus on what matters the most to You, our eternity with You. What you do, Heavenly Father, endures forever. Amen.
Warmly,
Barbara Lynn
PS. Although not my cat, I think the picture above represents how she feels about the noisy flooring project. Giggling.
